Work experience and volunteering opportunities

Volunteering or doing a work placement is useful if interested in working. It can help you to: 

  • get used to the routine of having a job
  • learn knowledge and skills to do a task
  • build your confidence
  • improve communication skills
  • get a job by showing you have experience
