SEND Travel Support Team

Our team oversees SEND travel support. We make sure our services run smoothly by communicating with everyone involved. This includes parents, carers, drivers, travel escorts and schools.

If you are thinking of applying, you can contact us if:

  • you need help with your application form
  • you would like to discuss personal travel budgets

If receiving SEND home to school transport, you should contact us if:

  • you have any concerns or problems with the service
  • you move schools or home
  • a trusted adult won't be home to collect your child
  • your child is unwell and does not need transport
  • your child will be returning to school and need transport

Tell us as soon as you can if there is a problem, even if it seems small.

Please remember to be kind and respectful with drivers, travel escorts and the SEND Travel Support Team. Threatening or aggressive behaviour can lead to home to school transport being stopped. If this happens, the only assistance offered would be a Personal Travel Budget (PTB).
