National charity supporting children who have a parent in prison. Online support available to children and their carers.

NEPACS is a local charity. They support families who have a relative in prison. They work with children who have a parent in prison.

Domestic Abuse service for children living in North Tyneside and Northumberland only.

This local charity offer a specialist service for victims of crime. This includes support for children who have experience domestic abuse.

Harbour
North East charity supporting victims of domestic abuse. They also offer services for children.
Newcastle Integrated Domestic Abuse Service (NIDAS)
Provides specialist support for victims of domestic abuse. They also support children affected by domestic abuse.
Changing Lives work in partnership with Action for Children and Rape Crisis.
ARFID Awareness UK - Avoidant Restrictive Food Intake Disorder
National charity offering online resources for carers of children with ARFID.

EDNE - Eating Distress North East
North East charity offering free support. Counselling support is available for young people 16 years and over. Support is also offered to those caring for a child or young person with an eating disorder.
Mermaids
Charity supporting young people identifying as trans, non-binary or gender diverse. Information and support available to families supporting young people. Local face-to-face group support available in Newcastle.
Pride Action North
LGBTQIA+ charity for the North East. They offer online and in person support services. They also organise social events.
Nook, Young People's Mental Health Safe Haven
Service provided by Children North East in partnership with Everyturn. This drop in mental health service is for young people aged 11-17 years (or 18 in full time education).

Services for young people including counselling and mental health support.
SAFE - Sexual Abuse Family Engagement
SAFE is a service provided by Children North East. They offer therapeutic support to children and young people (0-18 years). They also support to families caring for child victims.
Someone Cares
Specialist free counselling service for survivors or witnesses of sexual abuse, rape or sexual assault (age 11 years plus). They also work with families caring for the victims. Office bases in Blyth, North Shields and Sunderland.
