Adult's social care

Some adults may struggle to take part in daily activities or tasks. This may be because of a disability, injury or illness. It might make things difficult, such as:

  • dressing
  • washing
  • getting around
  • feeding themselves
  • staying safe

Adult's social care can help with these and other challenges. This could be through equipment, home adaptations, therapy, or advice.

Visit our Local Offer social care page, preparation for adulthood page, and Newcastle City Council's adult social care page for more information.
