Health support for people with autism or a learning disability

Staying healthy is important for everyone. People with autism or a learning disability might need more help

The learning disability register might be helpful. It can give extra health support from a general practitioner (GP). This support includes:

  • an Annual Health Check from the age of 14 and older
  • a Health Action Plan
  • NHS Flu vaccine
  • NHS COVID-19 vaccine

You can contact your or your child's GP to ask about being added. Watch the video and click the links above for more information.
