Alan Shearer Activity Centre

A highly specialist facility for people living with complex disabilities and acute sensory impairments. This includes an activity centre and specialist residential home.

The Alan Shearer Activity Centre

We offer activities for people of all ages living with disabilities. 

Facilities are completely free to use and include:

  • a hydrotherapy suite
  • sensory rooms and cave
  • a music room
  • seasonal activities
  • a café.

Overhead tracking and hoists are fitted throughout. This gives full accessibility to all areas for those with limited mobility.

Our Alan Shearer Specialist Residential Home

Our specialist home offers residential accommodation for adults living with profound and multiple disabilities. It offers longer term, safe and nurturing care and support. In addition, our residents living with disabilities have full access to the on-site Activity Centre.
