Westerhope Primary School

At Westerhope Primary School we believe that all our children are special and unique. We provide an environment which is safe, secure and where individuals treat each other and their property with respect.

We work as a whole school team to provide a creative, stimulating and engaging curriculum for all our children. We are all evaluating our achievements and looking for ways in which we can move forward in our learning.  We give all our children the opportunity to fulfil their potential and reach for the stars through learning.

For Early Years:

Our early years curriculum is designed with Hygge in mind, this means our environments are homely, calm and inviting to ensure all of our little ones feel ready to learn. We take inspiration from nature and many of our themes are based around Wanderlust Nature Studies that the children can explore first hand.

We aim to provide all children with the foundation knowledge, skills and understanding they need to be successful learners. Our learning spaces are carefully designed to promote interest and curiosity. Children are invited to explore indoors and outdoors each day.

From September 2026 we are offering 30 hours childcare, Mon-Fri during Term Time
