Including a mixture of singing, musical games, songwriting and playing, we’ll do our best to make sure everyone has a great time playing and creating music! Designed for young people aged 7-10, each session is fun and engaging and uses music from a wide variety of styles and cultures. We’ll explore warm-ups, rounds, part singing and vocal harmony to get the most from our voices. Over the year, there’ll be the opportunity to take part in a number of public performances and the chance to work together with our Newcastle Youth Choir.

Newcastle Youth Choir is an exciting youth choir open to young people aged 10-18, whether they are complete beginners to singing or experienced singers in or outside of school.
Through the course of the year, we learn a wide variety of different styles of music in our regular rehearsals. We also prepare for a number of public performances.
