Designed for young people aged 7-10, each session is fun and engaging and uses music from a wide variety of styles and cultures. We’ll explore warm-ups, rounds, part singing and vocal harmony to get the most from our voices. Over the year, there’ll be the opportunity to take part in a number of public performances and the chance to work together with our Newcastle Youth Choir.
Welcoming young people aged 13-16 years old, these sessions are focused on the music that young people want to sing and play. Including a mixture of singing, musical games, songwriting and playing, we’ll do our best to make sure everyone has a great time playing and creating music! Participants might have never played music before, they might want to improve their musical skills or they might just want to try something a little different.
A friendly environment for women aged 16-29 to improve their health and wellbeing at our free football sessions.
A free inclusive weekly gaming session. This is for all young people aged 12 to 18, or up to 24 for those with additional needs. Come together, socialise, and play many different consoles with friends.
An inclusive youth group for young people with physical, sensory, and learning disabilities. Have fun in a safe environment.
Newcastle Youth Choir is an exciting youth choir open to young people aged 10-18, whether they are complete beginners to singing or experienced singers in or outside of school.
Through the course of the year, we learn a wide variety of different styles of music in our regular rehearsals. We also prepare for a number of public performances.
Drop in and weigh your own baby. Please note there are staff no at this drop in. It is self service.
Come and try our tasty home-made food! We have breakfast buns, soup, paninis, quiche, hot drinks, fresh salads and more. We can also make buffets for your parties or events – just ask us to find out more!

NE1 CAN and Newcastle Hospitals Trust will bring together around 10 departments from within the Allied Health Professionals sector, giving young people the opportunity to find out about ‘other’ qualified careers within the NHS. Expect to interact with Occupational Therapy, Art Therapy, Physiotherapy and lots of others with the word ‘therapy’ at the end of the job title!
Suitable for students:
- Wishing to work in the NHS
- Keen to learn about professional careers
- Capable of studying at degree level

The Legal Advice Drop In Service is a city-wide service in Newcastle.
