Autism and Transitions in Education Settings

We often hear that changes in education can be hard for autistic students and their families. Moving between schools or year groups can feel worrying and stressful.

To help families get ready for the next school year, Lynda and Alice will share simple and helpful ideas. These are strategies that families can use at home to support autistic students through these changes.

During the session, you will also hear real thoughts and experiences from autistic young people that we work with. This will help families better understand what these changes can feel like and how best to support their child.
