Lucinda’s Childcare provides a warm, welcoming, and nurturing home-from-home environment where children can learn, play, and thrive. I offer a wide range of age-appropriate activities that support children’s development through the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS), including outdoor play, creative activities, messy play, baking, local outings, and educational experiences. I work closely with families to ensure every child feels safe, valued, and supported to reach their full potential.
I have been childminding for 8 years and I am also a qualified cook which I did for 15 years. I have experience of working with children who have special needs.
Maple Lodge Nursery provides full day care including breakfast, lunch and tea. We can also provide childcare for children qualifying for 2 year old funding.

Millers Dene Day Care offer childcare for children aged 3 months to 5 years in a purpose built building. We are fully inclusive with an accessible layout offering wheelchair access. We have an enclosed garden area accessible to all children including a specially designed sensory area. Children also have access to an additional sensory room.

Newcastle College Day Nursery is situated on Newcastle College Campus near the heart of the city, surrounded by established trees for privacy just off Westmoreland Road.

The Nursery consists of three main playrooms. The Baby, Toddler and Pre-school rooms accommodate children from birth to 4+ years. There is a large central hall where the children eat their meals, keep their coats and belongings and which also works as a multi-purpose area which can be used for parent evenings, parties, or yoga sessions.
We are a Montessori nursery for children aged 9 months to five year olds, rated outstanding by Ofsted, which encourages learning through play, stimulates children’s imaginations and develops their independence skills.
